Hi,guys, just found a good reference for the bell tower, the atmosphere is something like this. Dark surrounding and the bell tower glows a bit.

Script

Title: Karma

Length: 3 min

Genre: Romance/ Fantasy

Approach: 3D characters and background

Style: Refer to “Sonata”, may be no texture except the ring which must be standing out.



A story between a young man and his fiancée



Scene1( Interior): Camera is moving across 3 photos in the room, showing pictures of a couple. Title fades in and out.



Scene2 (Interior ): Calendar (2010) on the wall, hand comes into the screen, mark the date 14thFeb. Next shot shows the man’s face, smiling. He takes out a ring, looking at it, walks out of the screen. Shot comes back to the calendar (zoom in) with sound of door opens and closes ( man walks out of the room).



Scene3( exterior): He is walking on street to the promised place( a bell tower), he meets his fiancée, he proposes to her and put the ring on her hand. The ring does not stay on her hand but passes though her figure and drops on the ground. The man is shocked, wondering why, he picks up the ring and realises her fiancée is no long there. (Long shot to show he is isolated).



Scene4: He tries to look for his fiancée. When crossing the road, a truck loses control and running towards him. He thought the truck is going to hit him but it brakes right in front of him. He reliefs and next moment he realises there is a car accident happens somewhere further away.

He runs towards them, sees his fiancée’s dead body besides a car. ( Surrounding fade out). He slowly lies down beside her and closes his eyes. (Top view, camera is pulling all the way back and fades out).



Scene5: He wakes up, realises he is on the ground alone. He sees the ring is still in his hand which reminds him of his fiancée . He stands up, running on the street trying to find his fiancée.



Scene6: He comes to the bell tower again. Sees his fiancée is standing under it. He is excited and trying to approach her, then he realises there is another man ( back view) who is proposing to her. He stops at once and disappointed. He walks slowly, camera slowly reveals the man’s face is his own face, and his hand is holding the same ring.



Scene7: He is wondering what’s happening. Suddenly, the bell tower rings which attracts his attention. He turns to the bell tower, realises the time indicate is 14th Feb 2030.



Scene8: He smiles and reliefs, at this moment his body starts to disappear. Close up shot on his arm and hand disappearing, the rings drops all the way down, scene dissolves into the ring is on his fiancée ‘s finger.
